TTG Brasil improves scalability and reliability with INFLOR Forest

As part of the BTG Pactual group, TTG Brasil has more than 30 years of experience in timberland investments (forest assets). BTG Pactual manages more than 716,000 hectares of commercial forest properties across Latin America, USA, Europe, and Africa, with around US$3 billion in assets and employed capital.

“From the moment you increase the size of your forest asset, it is necessary to have control, cost management, planning x budget and other variables, so you can correctly conduct the forest management,” explains Joabel Barbieri and Marcelo Tempos, who are responsible for the planning and control department of TTG.

With this in mind, the executives carried out a market survey and chose INFLOR Forest: a system ready to use with parameters already configured, making it possible for quick installation, the use of best practices, and the ability to evolve quickly. As a competitive advantage in forest management technology, INFLOR Forest also offers a complete hardware and software infrastructure.

INFLOR Forest was delivered to TTG with all of the initial parameters configured. The GIS, Forest Registry, Silviculture and Land Management modules were installed, along with the Data Cubes and Data Warehouse on the Management module.
